Skyrunner Publications was incorporated in 1997 serving as a vehicle for mostly inspirational writings. Initially founded by Clement Charles, during the turn of the millennia the business was taken over by his wife and children as a physical disability brought on by disease severely limited Clement's daily activities. Holly Eve Carter assumed full ownership and direction of Skyrunner with significant input and effort from Christy Mara, Noah Christopher, and Logan Nicholas. Holly Eve is a fulltime elementary educator. Christy, in addition to her Skyrunner editorial duties, is studying political science and pre-law at the Honors College at DePaul. Noah, in addition to his technical duties, is studying computer science and engineering at the University of Michigan. Noah is also on the U of M Web Design Team. Logan picks up the Operational pieces when he is not studying pre med also at the University of Michigan.
www.youngadultsthink.com and www.collegekidstoday.com were launched December 29, as an outreach to college students and working age young adults providing a 'quick hit' inspirational quote preceded by a short reflection, comment, or question. The full reading for the day is also identified for those with interest.
